About us

PrintNZ Training sets the standard for workplace training for the printing and packaging industries by building on the strong culture of on-the-job training that has been a part of our industry for the past 100 years and more.

Now a sector of the Communications and Media Industry Training Organisation, PrintNZ Training continues to design and administer workplace qualifications suitable for the needs of our industry. Our task is to ensure the skills learned by our trainees are relevant for the printing and packaging industries of today and tomorrow.

PrintNZ Training works with our industry to develop a highly skilled workforce through the provision of on-job training programmes and nationally recognised qualifications.

The PrintNZ Training head office is based in Lower Hutt, Wellington and our Chief Executive is Joan Grace. Our Training Liaison Officers travel the country visiting apprentices, trainees and employers in their workplace.
