Literacy Skills

Literacy skills include reading, writing and maths skills as well as comprehension and problem solving skills. Literacy skills are among the most important skills needed for work. Literacy levels impact on businesses and the economy, leading to lower productivity, lost time, wastage, errors and can contribute to workplace accidents.

PrintNZ Training can provide practical and financial help through our Workplace Literacy Fund to help businesses improve the literacy skills of employees. We act as a facilitator between a business and learning specialists, who provide tutors and literacy programmes. Tutors can provide one-on-one or with a small group of employees, often in the workplace.
