Flexible Training - the best option for you PrintNZ Training has several types of training programmes available to suit the needs of your business and staff. Our training programmes are: - Delivered in the workplace (training and assessment)
- Supported by correspondence and two to five day off-job workshops, and
- Linked to the National Qualifications Framework.
Our Training Liaison Officers regularly visit each business involved in training to provide support and assistance to the employer and trainees. On completion of their training, apprentices gain a National Certificate at Level 4. Our apprenticeship programmes are continually updated and are available in all sectors. Additional units can be added to create a specific training programme for your business - contact us to discuss your requirements. Modern Apprenticeships are also available for people aged between 16-21 inclusive, providing additional support and encouragement for younger staff. National Certificate Training Programmes These training programmes are based on the achievement of a specific National Certificate, either for Level 2 or 3 on the National Qualifications Framework. Company Specific Programmes Our flexibility means programmes are available to focus training on the specific skill requirements of your business. We’ll work with you to identify the relevant skills needed in your workplace and put together a suitable training programme. Increasingly businesses are making use of this flexibility to access the skills they need in their particular business. Diploma in Management - Print The Diploma in Management – Print is an advanced qualification that equips people with the skills and knowledge to take on managerial responsibilities in the printing industry. Completed by correspondence, the Diploma is well suited to managers, supervisors, people involved with sales and marketing, and those who want to add to their qualifications after completing an apprenticeship or other training. The Diploma is made up of specific Printing Administration and NZIM Certificate in Management papers. A mentoring programme provides extra support and encouragement to students on this programme. Other Training Print industry employees need a wide range of skills to complete their roles, including literacy support, general training and productivity assistance.
