Winning the title of PrintNZ Training Apprentice of the Year is an awesome achievement. Do you have what it takes? All apprentices who complete their training between 1 January and 31 December 2010 will be considered for the 2011 Apprentice Awards. If you have a great attitude towards your work and training, and put 100% effort into your assignments and assessments, you are on the right track. Selections are made based on an apprentice’s attitude to their job and training, assignment marks, workshop reports, Training Liaison Officer feedback, Workplace / Competency Assessor comments and employer feedback. Initial selections take place early in the year, with the branch finalists announced in February, and the branch winners announced in March. The branch winners, including top trainee, then attend the PrintNZ Training Apprentice Awards Breakfast to receive their Awards. All winners attend the Pride In Print Awards, where the Apprentice of the Year is announced. The Apprentice Awards Breakfast and Pride In Print Awards take place on the same day. These events will next take place in May or June 2011.
