NZPPA President attends Apprentice Awards event

Jack Hayward's first official role as the new NZPPA President was to present the top Paperboard Packaging Apprentice with his award.

Stephen Meredith took out the top Paperboard Packaging Apprentice of the Year title, after completing his apprenticeship during 2006. Stephen works at Carter Holt Harvey Packaging Carton, in Auckland, and is looked upon as an asset to his team, according to his training supervisor Brian Sebine.

Stephen was one of seven top apprentices to receive their awards at the PrintNZ Training Apprentice Awards Breakfast on 15 June in Christchurch. The event was attended by the families, employers and partners of the winners, as well as a wide range of industry members.
