A key role of PrintNZ is to look at how the industry can raise the profile of print to attract customers, staff and investment.

The Print: Part of Life marketing campaign is based on detailed qualitative research into print buyers' and consumers' perceptions of print. The research highlighted the fact that consumers love print, especially relaxing with a good book or magazine which is seen as a treat. They like print's portability, tangibility and quality.

Print: Part of Life is a medium to long-term campaign that aims to improve the image of the print industry and promote print as a sustainable choice and an effective means of communication.

Over two hundred individuals and companies have signed up as "Print Champions" as supporters of the campaign. Print Champions have access to a range of resources which they can use to spread the positive messages of the campaign. The resources include logos, adverts, professional photography and key messages.

The Print: Part of Life campaign relies on the support of the industry and the involvement of businesses in helping to spread the positive messages about print.

Print Champions invest $200 towards the on-going development and resourcing of the Print: Part of Life campaign and in return, gain access to a range of quality resources and print ready files to promote print to your customers.
